We are an all-volunteer, not-for-profit, rescue squad serving all of Avery County, North Carolina. We are staffed by volunteer EMTs, paramedics, state-certified rescue technicians, and other caring people, who give of their time to help others in need. But we need your help in continuing our mission. So, please consider a donation to help us offset the costs of maintaining our basic and advanced life support equipment such as Zoll's AutoPulse ®, a portable automated CPR resuscitator that stays with the patient from their home or the top of a mountain to the hospital, the newest technology in defibrillation devices, rescue tools such as the jaws of life, medical supplies, fuel, training, and other essential expenses.
